I’ve been ingrained in the tech culture since I was a kid, clacking away at a dusty old Compaq keyboard on a green-screened 8088, coding rudimentary BASIC programs from the back pages of Highlights magazine just for fun, and building computers with my father, an electronic engineer. I’d like to think I’ve come a long way since then. My original dream was to become a computer programmer, but I found I had a knack for business management and entered the corporate world of banking.

I loved being a bank manager, but couldn’t resist jumping on a rare opportunity to go back to my computing roots and become a web worker, utilizing my skills in writing, management, and technology to become a community network manager, editor, writer, and blogger for Capable Networks, LLC.

Since then, I’ve become fascinated (and perhaps a little obsessed) with the online world of communities, forums, and social networking. Every day I learn something new, and nothing makes me happier than to work with and spread the word about places where people can come to talk about the gadgets and technology they love. You can find out more about what I do here.

Some of the things I’m currently hooked on:

Curry, deep house, iPhone games, mechanical watches, R/C planes & choppers, Borderlands, the XBOX 360 indie scene, roguelikes, Gran Turismo PSP, Ayn Rand
